Welcome
to Charlie's Motel
Charlie’s Motel originally opened in the 1950s and has been a consistent presence on Main Street for nearly 70 years. The motel, at 220 West Main Street, is dedicated to customer service and offers an on-site bar/restaurant, the Hurry Back Tavern. The tavern is an open space with a central bar and plenty of tables. The tavern and restaurant is open seven days a week and offers nightly food and drink specials.
The motel itself has ten rooms that have all been updated with flat screen televisions, mini-fridges, microwaves, air-conditioning, and free wi-fi. Many of the rooms have been remodeled to update flooring, plumbing, electrical, and bathroom fixtures.
Throughout the year, Charlie’s is filled at a 75% occupancy rate or higher. Weekly rates, coupled with the laundromat across the street make it appealing for construction teams and contract employees staying in the area for extended periods. The motel also houses touring musicians, GAP trail visitors, and Red Ridge Auto sends over those whose cars break down and need a place to stay.
